Weekend trim and jarring of the Cherry Bear Kush Auto. Very interesting terpene / smell profile. There’s that grapefruit / citrus smell that is prevalent, but there’s also an earthy or woody detergent kind of smell, could be a cedar / pine smell with a cleaning agent, like a Pine Sol or something. When I was trimming, I got this eye irritation sort of experience. Mild, but similar to how Vicks or something hits your eyes. Again, mild, but very interesting. After some terpene reading, delta 3 carene is found in cannabis and is often characterized as โsweet and earthy,โ with undertones of citrus, pine, lemon, cypress, or wood. I found a study that also listed it as a terpene that can cause some eye irritation. I’m not saying that’s it for sure, but it’s always fascinating how the smells come off the plant, always amazes me.
