Been a busy last few weeks, but happy to report on a successful pollination of this THCV plant. Video update below, please check it out. To recap, the plant was half pollinated by ‘painting’ pollen on the plant (bud sites) with a paint brush. The male plant had many open sacs with pollen everywhere so grabbing pollen on the brush was a breeze. The exposed bud sites were brushed, and the other stems sat under a trash bag, which basically divided the plant in half. This was done in the garage to eliminate any wind/breeze. Pollination took place in the morning and by the evening, the plant was sprayed down with water, via a misting bottle. This was done to neutralize any pollen that might still be left on the plant, as to not pollinate the other half of the plant once it was placed back into the tent.
