Today I checked on the weight of the pots after watering. All feels OK and normal. I was a little freaked out when I saw some little white things in the soil of my main plant. After pulling her out to inspect, they look like little mushroom heads. What?! What does this mean?!? I quickly jumped to Google to look this up. The consensus is that it’s not nothing to worry about, just pull the heads off. Seems to indicate a good and healthy soil. I’m attributing it to the extra water I gave her the day before, as I’m sure that top layer of soil was really moist.
Looking at the calendar, I’m 4 weeks in. Since this is my first grow, I don’t know what to expect, so I’m going to set the lights this evening to switch to 12/12 and enter flower. My plants aren’t that big, but this first grow is all about learning.
