It’s day 25 and I feel happy with my first time growing. It’s not a disaster, so that’s a plus. It’s not totally successful either, and that’s a good thing. I like learning and even though this is challenging, it’s making me think, and giving me something to do each and every day.
Since I started growing, I’ve been listening to podcasts on growing techniques, etc. There’s a couple I would like to recommend that have some great information, knowledgeable guests, and can be listened to when you’re on a certain stage of growing.
Give them a listen, especially if you are just starting out with your first grow.
Today I did a form of super cropping on my larger, more healthier plant. I simply “popped” that main stem to help it be more robust and sturdy. I gave it a little twist till it popped like a knuckle and released. I also cleaned up a few lower leaves that weren’t getting enough light.
Lastly, I had ordered a “smart” power strip so that I could turn devices on and off. Today I hooked it up and got my devices connected to it. Paired with my wifi camera, I’m able to remotely view my humidity/temperature and turn fans off/on remotely
Environment
Temperature (F): 75
Humidity: 49
Watering
3 cups of water each plant.
Observations
New growth looks great. Plant is doing very well. My other plant may be taking a turn for the better…we shall see.
